Nigerian Gospel Artiste, Esther Igbekele Finally Comments On Marriage To An Alhaji
Nigerian gospel female act, Esther Igbekele, has finally commented about her marriage to an Alhaji whose name is not made public.
During an interview, the energetic vocalist said the marriage has become a thing of the past and she has moved on.
"There are lots of mistake in the beginning but thank God, who still kept me this far. That is now a past tense,
I’m going on with my new life and today I’m married to my own man, the God ordained man for me...
She further revealed that her musical career was have been destroyed because of her early marriage which turned out to be a 'mistake'.
"This is a long story but I still thank God for where I am today. Honestly my major problem was my early marriage. Early marriage nearly marred my career."
Nollywood Actor, Ali Nuhu Robbed On His Way To MTN Kannywood Awards
Popular actor in the Nigerian movie industry, Ali Nuhu, recently had an encounter with men of the underworld while returning from an event in Kano.
It was the second time the Kannywood star was robbed by hoodlums.
It would be recalled that sometimes ago, Ali Nuhu was attacked by armed robbers robbed near the 7Up
Bottling Company in Kano. He was then returning from a movie location in Kano and was reportedly heading to Abuja when the incident occurred.
The latest robbery attack on the actor happened on the Kano/Kaduna Expressway, while on his way to the recently held MTN Kannywood Awards. He was attacked around 8pm.
It was learnt that the actor was recognized by one of the robbers who wanted to allow him to go, but the leader of the gang insisted that he should be robbed. He was later allowed to go after he had been disposed of his belongings.
His Honda Crosstour 2012 car he bought recently, phones and cash were taken away from him by the hoodlums.

Beautiful Nollywood actress, Nkem Ike, is still mourning the sudden death of her father, Mr. Ike who died on Feb. 4, 2015 after a brief illness.
The Enugu-born thespian who last received a call from her dad while on her way to Oji-River on the campaign train of Nollywood supporters for the re-election bid of the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Goodluck Ebele Jonathan at the February elections, was surprised to get a call that her father was dead.
Nkem who could not hold back her tears, questioned why death had to come knocking so soon thereby taking her dad and leaving her to care for her younger ones all alone.

“Who will look after your children? Since 2004, you took up the role of a mother and father. You promised me that you would make sure I don't miss my mum. Now you are no more too. Can I play the role of a mother and father to my younger ones? Death where is thy sting? Dad you called me on my way to Oji-river, you would have waited for me to see you alive not your corpse. Edu have been crying since yesterday instead of celebrating the admission into the university. Your grand son Sean refused to sleep . Dad I am still holding my phone tight because I know you will call me and tell me you are still alive.”

There have been rumours that two Ghanaian movie stars, Yvonne Nelson and John Dumelo are in a hot romantic, but secret affair.
Even though John had tried to clear the air on the issue, rumourmongers continue to argue that the relationship between the two stars goes beyond what they claim.
Though John admitted having a soft spot for Yvonne's legs and her food, he claimed it does not go beyond a platonic friendship. He then disclosed that he stays in the same neighbourhood with Yvonne, which makes it very easy for him to go to his colleague’s home.

In a recent chat, the mother of two, who was recently accused by a top marketer of absconding with his money, pledged her support for President Goodluck Jonathan, citing several reasons for her decision, noting that she believes he should be given a chance to remain Nigeria’s president at the February 14, 2015 presidential elections.
“He deserves another chance. This is a president who has good intentions for the nation. He is by no means a perfect man but he means well and he has apparently learnt from his weaknesses in the last four years.
“We must continue to believe in this great nation of ours. Nigeria belongs to us. The president cannot do it alone. He needs our help and we should not let him down at a time like this when he needs our votes to get the job done,” she said.
Mama Purity, as she fondly called by close friends, reminded Nigerians that President Goodluck Jonathan launched the Public Works Women and Youth Empowerment Programme, an intervention programme designed to employ 370,000 youths with 30% of those jobs being reserved for women.
Mercy Johnson also urged Nigerians to cast aside their sentiments and make the right choice during the forthcoming elections.
