I CAN'T MARRY ENTERTAINER BECAUSE OF ENVY - RUGGEDMAN

Rugged Records CEO, Michael Stephen better known as Ruggedman, is in no rush to get married, but when he is ready to settle down, he won't look in the way of fellow entertainers, going by what he disclosed recently.
The rapper told City People that his kind of woman is not in the entertainment industry, adding that he wants a responsible lady as wife.
Ruggedman explained that his reason for snubbing entertainment is because of envy.
“There are a lot of girls out there but I don’t need a girl, I need a woman. A woman who knows what responsibility is all about, not just about Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. Somebody who is real, who is responsible, and I really hope not to date anybody in entertainment, it won’t work.
"You go out, she goes out, and we all know we humans are jealous creatures, if you go out and your wife sees so many girls clamouring around or over you, you say it’s just work honey but if you see a guy around her and she says it’s just work honey, I can imagine how you would react,“ he said.

He is known as the comedian with the biggest ears, but he is not threatened by others because he is focused and convinced that making people laugh is his calling.
When asked in a recent interview about his first romantic relationship, Baba De Baba said :
"I had my first girlfriend in 2004, when my mum died. I met the lady at the mortuary, where I was supposed to be crying, but I was admiring somebody (laughs). She came with my mother’s relations to condole with me. We dated for like two years, but I never slept with her. We did not even have time for each other because she was staying at Obalanle while I was living at Maryland as a house help. So, there was no way we could see except when my boss was not around.
In the instances where we met, I stole money to visit her. When I get to her place, we just stay outside to talk."

I’M NOT A FRAUDSTER O - MIKE EZURUONYE CRIES OUT

Nollywood actor, Mike Ezuruonye, is not happy with the way some hoodlums are denting his image badly. He is furious that some people are using his name to dupe his unsuspecting fans.
According to the actor, the worst side of it all is that they now go as far as blackmailing the fans through Skype if they (fans) fail to meet their demands.
Not able to bear it anymore, the actor came out to clear the air.
“Disclaimer: So disturbed as I hear my teaming fans are defrauded on the daily by fraudsters claiming to be me. Most disturbing is a fraudster also going on Skype and using my movie close up pictures, speaking to people without audio or sometimes slow audio.
“When the person now asks ‘why is the audio slow or not there at all?’, the fraudster claims it’s a network issue.
“Recently, I have even heard of cases of BLACKMAIL from me to my supposed fans on SKYPE. That hurts me big time. Please here's what. If you get anyone claiming to be me or any other entertainer on any video platform on social media, ask the so called celebrity to send you a picture and video with the newspaper of that said day showing the date.
“That’s an idea that could curb this menace. I’m standing up for fellow entertainers whose characters are currently being assassinated by these fraudsters. God bless us all,” he wrote.

"I didn't sweep London streets to survive. I never swept except it is my house. If people peddle rumours that I sweep the streets of London to survive, so be it. However, the beautiful actress who's also known as 'Toyin Tomatoes' also said, its nobody's business the kind of work she does to survive, after all there's dignity in labour.

Anything that will give me good money is what I can do because “owo igbe kin run (money gotten from shit carrying does not smell shit). If at the end of the day I’m spending the money, does it smell of shit or faeces?” she said.

I’M BETTER THAN ARTISTES WITH ENDORSEMENT DEALS - TERRY G

To Terry G, he is okay with doing good music and his water business.
According to him, he cannot stoop low to get penny from companies, who end up turning artistes to slaves all in the name of brand endorsement deals. To him, he is better than most artistes who boast of different ambassadorial deals on their shelves.
He told Tribune that, “My brother, I am very happy. In fact, very happy to be where I am without being an ambassador. How many of their ambassadors can boast of what I have got without being an ambassador?
“Anyway, I am a peace ambassador of the Federal Republic of Nigeria; that’s enough to spread my business ideas. Very soon, I’ll start endorsing people. I don’t want to be a slave to penny, do you understand that?”
