"Fuck Your Unrealistic Dreams" - KENYAN RAPPER FIRES ICE PRINCE

The social media can be used for many reasons of stating one’s opinion concerning issues and events that happen anywhere in the world and it can reach a whole diverse audience within a timeframe of issuance.

For this reason one social media platform has been employed as Kenyan entertainer, Mwafreeka Mwaf has taken a swipe at Nigeria’s Ice Prince for his ‘sad’ misrepresentation of the African dream and hustle in the video of ‘N-WORD’.

Mwaf had called the Nigerian a ‘cat’ saying, “Just watched a video by some Nigerian cat called Ice Prince and the song is called N Word. And am actually sad.

HipHop to me has always been the avenue of self expression and as it was said (although misused too) in the 90s "Keeping It Real."

The Kenyan advise Ice Prince to get a comprehension of the culture of rap before going on to rap about the vanities just to get fame or to be called a rapper as international rappers in the develop countries can actually afford the cars and houses they rap about.

”Understand the culture punks and stop embarrassing yourselves. Jay Z, Beyoncé and Lil Wayne can afford Bugattis, and you can't.”

He went on to diss Ice Prince in a direct jibe in which he demands that African should be more cherished and represented in a more accepted light than he did in the song, “F**k your UNREALISTIC dream, am shitting on your dream. Use HipHop to represent Africa not to portray us as clowns.”

Mwaf praised the importation and placement of Africa on the international stage by late Afrobeat legend, Fela Anikulapo-Kuti, “Paul McCartney, Questlove, Jay Z & Will Smith featured in this documentary about an African who repped us all and BEFORE THE INTERNET questioned modern religions and their relevance to us Africans…”
