In her evidence, Mrs. Ike said six months was too long adding that the respondent had two years to reconcile with her but he didn’t.

According to her, things became worse last Sunday when she called her husband to speak with their children.
In tears, Mrs Ike said:”I almost went mad when my first son told me on phone that if I truly loved them, I wouldn’t have abandoned them. Even my seven-year-old son whose day wouldn’t be complete without seeing me said he doesn’t love me. I love my children. I miss my children. I never abandoned them. I am in pain. Being Spiritual Can’t Stop Me From Kissing In Movies - Actress Belinda Effah

Belinda Effah needs no introduction to Nigerian movie lovers, the Kokoma star has suddenly turned one of the most sought after faces in Nollywood. The Calabar, Cross-River state born starlet is seemingly wanted by different top film-makers to be on their caste.

In a recent interview with The Sun Newspapers, the award winning actress maintained that she can kiss romantically in movies because it is not against her religion.

‘‘I’m an actress, so that I’m spiritual doesn’t mean I can’t kiss in movies. If it’s a good story, then why won’t I kiss to tell the story well? The character might start as a bad person who later turned good. That’s a good story line. Everything or everyone mustn’t come out clean.

As long as someone is employing me to play a role, because they know I can do the job, then people expects me to turn the job down because I am spiritual? In this industry that once you reject a job, thousands others are willing to grab it. I also have to show my professionalism.

Some doctors have to do something to protect their career, but they can’t come out and say it. But all eyes are on actors, people judge every move we make.

Sorry to disappoint you people, if I have to kiss in a movie, I’ll do it well because I am a professional. I can kiss but I can’t do nudity because that’s like the extreme,’ she said.

I Don’t Believe The Bible On Sex – Nollywood Actress Queeneth Hilbert

When I first interviewed her I felt an air of derision about her towards men but she was quick to tell me she has nothing against them although she has had her share of bad experiences with men.
“ When I was trying to establish myself as a model, every man I met wanted something from me. In this country, most men you meet don’t want to do anything for you unless you are ready to offer sex. Only very few men are nice. I don’t know if it happens like that to other women but for me, it has and that doesn’t mean I have anything against men. I don’t” she says
And her feelings haven’t affected her desirability to have sex with the opposite sex. “Well, you see someone and you feel this guy will be good in bed, fine, go ahead and have it. Sex is something you can have if you feel good about it. I don’t believe all those Bible stuffs about sex” she quips.
