WHY MY HUSBAND DOESN’T WANT PEOPLE TO SEE OUR BABY - TIWA SAVAGE

In July 2015, Tiwa Savage and her manager turned husband, Teebillz welcomed a baby boy at a London hospital and they shielded the identity of the baby away from the press and members of the public.

Few hours after Tiwa Savage was delivered of the baby, her husband let out the information via his Instagram page and posted a picture of the baby’s hands with the caption ‘Thank You Jesus’.

In an interview with Genevieve Magazine, the Mavin Records’ first lady explained why they decided to keep the face of the boy away.

‘Well that’s his dad’s decision. Every mother wants everyone to see the picture of her baby. I want everyone to see how cute he is but I understand my husband’s perspective too. He is the head of the house so I have to respect his wishes. Eventually, we will reveal his face but for now, he wants only close family and friends to have the special moment to bond and not share it with the world yet,’ she said.

She also reflected on motherhood so far, recounting how it was hard to bond with her child after he was born.

‘I’m going to be as candid as I can be and Genevieve is the only press I’ve ever told. They say you bond instantly with your baby but I didn’t have that instant connection. I was in a 20-hour labour and just when I was about to push him out, his heart rate dropped, so there was a lot of panic in the room and we were all in tears. Then, when he eventually came out, everyone screamed “congratulations” and they had to put him on my chest to bond. Instead, when they did, I said “he is beautiful, but can I sleep for just one hour?”

‘Thereafter, I was so overwhelmed, that for a week after delivery, I would cry every day. And I don’t know why that happened. The midwives thought I was suffering from depression but I guess a lot of first-time mums have felt that way. I think it is the overwhelming feeling of being responsible for another human being. Now, life is no longer a joke. I cannot do just anything I want. Yet, on the other hand, I am very protective of him. Being a mother has made me like a lioness, and I’m ready to bite anyone’s head off over him.’

Final the Kelekele singe just welcomed her first child - a son. She gave birth today July 21 at St Mary's Hospital in London. Congratulations dear!

Annie Idibia, Tee Billz At Lagos Event Without Spouses

The night of Sunday, December 28, 2014 was special in Lagos for fun-seekers as they trooped out to support indigenous rapper, Olamide Adedeji popularly known as Olamide, at ‘The Beast Unleashed’ concert held in Victoria Island. 

Several celebrities stormed the event too to show support to one of their own.

At the occasion, Mrs. Annie Idibia was spotted as she was caught up in the fun and excitement of the moment, dancing to the rhythm of the night without the love of her life, Mr. Innocent ‘2Face’ Idibia beside or anywhere around her.

Tunji ‘Tee Billz’ Balogun, husband of Tiwa Savage, was also ‘guilty of same offence' of spouse abandonment.

Tiwa Savage and ‘Tee Billz’ have been touted as one of the glamorous celebrity couples in the Nigerian entertainment.

Few months back, there were lots of speculations about rancour in their marriage.

To contradict such negative reports, the couple again built a bond, waxed stronger and resumed attending events together, until last night when Tee Billz had all the fun of the night alone at Olamide's concert without the sight of his better-half, Tiwa Savage.
