I DON'T MAKE MY MUSIC FOR PEOPLE THAT SPEAKS TOO MUCH GRAMMAR - Rapper LIL KESH

YBNL artiste, Lil Kesh, to many will be said to have made the right choice to sign a contract with the Olamide led record label which is now paying off for him with the various singles he has released so far.
These days, almost every hip-hop artiste in Nigeria tends to infuse their mother tongue into their songs which has more appeal than the conventional lyrical styles.
Lil Kesh while speaking on why he prefers to use is Yoruba language more in his music explained that he is not doing music for those that are vast with the English language but for the locales.
He stressed that it is important to ensure that one’s music is able to cut across all sectors of human lives and not to a specified audience.
“Put your culture into your rap then your fans will definitely listen to you. If you are an Igbo guy and you know you can put your Igbo dialect in to your rap, do it for your Igbo people. I am not doing hip-hop for those that understand English alone; there are some people in Osun state, Abeokuta and Ibadan that don’t really understand English to a certain point,” he told Vanguard.
