I Wish To Rap Better Than Phyno - Rapper Ikechukwu

Ikechukwu the rapper who became famous with ‘Wind Am Well’ has revealed that the local lyricists have become the Lords of the Manor and no longer those Nigerian rappers who do that in their American or British accent . Ikechukwu, has spent 10 years in the industry, and revealed that he would be celebrating it with a concert.

I’ve done a couple of movies and TV series including Gidi Up.’

I Can’t Forget What Ubi Franklin Did To Me - Emma Nyra

Although he as moved on, married and even expecting a baby from his beautiful wife, Ubi Franklin's alleged ex-girlfriend, Emma Nyra, can't seem to let go of the memories of the relationship.

While Ubi in another interview around that period claimed they were actually in a relationship but he broke up with her because she was manner-less and all.
However, in a recent interview with The Punch, the leggy singer maintained that her days with Ubi Franklin owned music record label, TrippleMG, wasn't worth it.

"I want to handle my own projects, so I can see and track my own revenue. I can make my own money and also bring up other artistes when the time comes. My former label, TripleMG, didn't do all that for me. Obviously they didn’t."

On why she didn't speak up her grievances, Ms Nyra said she did but..

"I did air my grievances but they were not addressed. That was why I left the label.

What are some of the lessons you have learnt since you parted ways with your former label?
I learnt to focus and not really trust what I hear. I have learnt to take everything I am being told by sight and keep my faith in God because He is the only one who actually has my back. Even if I hear something, I don’t react just like that and I also stay away from drama. If I sense that a situation might likely lead to a confrontation, I simply avoid it. I actually wasn’t in a relationship with Ubi. He made all that story up. Personally, I don’t want to speak about it.

She added that her present relationship with her former label boss, Ubi Franklin, isn't cordial.
"No, I wouldn’t like to speak about that"

She questioned popular cable channel, Africa Magic, on why they don’t screen content they buy before airing it to their viewers.

In her words, “I'm sitting here watching Africa magic 151 and all I see is DISCLOSURE Season 2 story. This is a shame and I am Sad for this industry. Actors, Producers, directors! Don't jump on set because you are paid to work. People steal & copy stories! In the end, you will look stupid
“Are we running out of ideas in Nollywood? Can two or more film makers sell same story to Africa Magic? Don’t you watch films you buy? Goodness!! Same names, same lines, same story. These film makers tomorrow will parade themselves as film makers. Who are we to then cry about piracy? And script writers who sell same script to two or more people. Your reward is coming. You are worse than a pirate & will reap what u sow!”

Is D’banj really the ‘KOKO’ Master? @iamme_aoj (A MUST READ)

D’banj came into d industry with all the sexual prowess and aptitude
when music fans were in need of a new theme for their artistes to sing
about aside love, bad government and all that ‘I go make am’ songs.
The lyrics from his songs like ‘Tongolo’, ‘Anaconda’, ‘Run Down(Funk U
Up)’ ‘Do You like the Koko’ and the demonstration he does with his
hands made him the sexual lord that even guys were scared of leaving
their woman close to him because he made everyone believe his ‘Koko’
can do magic even without touching the lady.

( ‘….. I don get degree for
womanology
I don study the woman
phisinomy …… ‘Lyrics of Tongolo)

Koko-master-entertaining-guests-398x600
Take it or leave it, D’banj got everyone wondering how big is this
‘Koko’ he talks about. He even calls the ladies ‘Kokolet’ and made
himself the  ‘Koko Master’.

Now, By D’banj’s definition, a KoKo master is a man that has the
ladies at his beck and call. A koko master is a guy that makes any
lady ask for more whenever they encounter his bedmatic skills.  He is
the true definition of a goal scorer.

Indeed D’banj has proven to be the master in other things but has
failed woefully to prove that he is really the ‘Koko Master’ in the
real deal which he always claim to be the Master.

There is no denying the fact that he has been linked with beautiful
and high profile ladies like Nollywood diva, Genevieve Nnaji and
billionaire’s daughter, Adama Idimi. But what could have led to each
break up? Size of the ‘Koko’? Or poor performance of the ‘Koko’?

dbanj

One wonders how Terry G, Timaya , May D, Olamide, Solid Star, D’Prince
, Wande Coal and even small Wizkid and Davido pulled the stunt that D’banj
made us believe him alone is the master. Oh, Wizkid just did it again by the way. Damn!
I’m not saying D’banj should become a baby Daddy. No. Am just saying
that he should show us proof that his ‘Koko’ is really the Koko.

Barely two years down the line and the singer has established himself as a force to be reckoned with in the industry.
He said there are certain things fame has deprived from him. We have different types of fans and even though most fans wish me well, things could get out of hand sometimes. ACTING BAD ROLES IS MY TRADE MARK - PATIENCE OZOKWOR

Nollywood actress, Patience Ozokwor, in a recent interview has explained why she is always acting bad roles in almost all the movies she is featured in.
The actress disclosed that acting bad roles is just her trade mark as many also act different kind of roles and they are known for it.
She explained to Yes magazine that when she tries to act a good woman, her fans complain and with such, a producer wanting to use her will have to be very creative with the script to bring out the best in her.
“People should admit that I have something to play! People are known for stunts, romance, bad boys and girls, gigolo and so on, but I have that as my strong point. It was when I was coming up that I thought I might get hurt or being hated for playing those roles but I never knew it was going to even make me popular and loved. The roles I play most times are very vibrant and make people want to watch all my movies; even if I play the role of a good woman now my fans will start complaining, you understand? And if your fans start complaining that they don’t want you in a particular role, it makes the producers want to give me those bad woman roles the more,” she said.
She also noted that she does not make demands for the bad roles she acts but she works base on the script she is being given to interpret.
“I don’t ask for it, they just give it to me and if the script I get has something new and my fans are anxious of what the role is going to be like, I can make it different from what I used to do. It is not easy to play bad roles at all times. Ask any artiste around you and they will tell you it’s not easy to cry and shout on set at the same time when it isn’t your normal self. It is not an easy task at all,” she added.
