Is D’banj really the ‘KOKO’ Master? @iamme_aoj (A MUST READ)

D’banj came into d industry with all the sexual prowess and aptitude
when music fans were in need of a new theme for their artistes to sing
about aside love, bad government and all that ‘I go make am’ songs.
The lyrics from his songs like ‘Tongolo’, ‘Anaconda’, ‘Run Down(Funk U
Up)’ ‘Do You like the Koko’ and the demonstration he does with his
hands made him the sexual lord that even guys were scared of leaving
their woman close to him because he made everyone believe his ‘Koko’
can do magic even without touching the lady.

( ‘….. I don get degree for
womanology
I don study the woman
phisinomy …… ‘Lyrics of Tongolo)

Take it or leave it, D’banj got everyone wondering how big is this
‘Koko’ he talks about. He even calls the ladies ‘Kokolet’ and made
himself the  ‘Koko Master’.

Now, By D’banj’s definition, a KoKo master is a man that has the
ladies at his beck and call. A koko master is a guy that makes any
lady ask for more whenever they encounter his bedmatic skills.  He is
the true definition of a goal scorer.

Indeed D’banj has proven to be the master in other things but has
failed woefully to prove that he is really the ‘Koko Master’ in the
real deal which he always claim to be the Master.

There is no denying the fact that he has been linked with beautiful
and high profile ladies like Nollywood diva, Genevieve Nnaji and
billionaire’s daughter, Adama Idimi. But what could have led to each
break up? Size of the ‘Koko’? Or poor performance of the ‘Koko’?

One wonders how Terry G, Timaya , May D, Olamide, Solid Star, D’Prince
, Wande Coal and even small Wizkid and Davido pulled the stunt that D’banj
made us believe him alone is the master. Oh, Wizkid just did it again by the way. Damn!
I’m not saying D’banj should become a baby Daddy. No. Am just saying
that he should show us proof that his ‘Koko’ is really the Koko.

D'BANJ STRIPPED OFF WRISTWATCH AND SHOES BY AREA BOYS IN LAGOS (FULL STORY)

This is not the best of times for the Koko Master, D’banj as he recently had a rough time with the area boys in Lagos.
It was gathered that trouble began for the singer last Saturday, at Tin Can Port, Lagos, when he showed up for a video shoot in a Toyota RAV 4 with registration number KJA6158BE.
However, when the area boys laid their eyes on him, they rallied round him demanding that he settle them by parting with cash.
While the Koko Master was still trying to negotiate with them, they deflated his tyres to his chagrin.
Obviously aware that there was no point arguing with the area boys who numbered over 50, D’banj had disembarked and they had escorted him to an ATM where he withdrew an undisclosed sum to settle them.
Topping it all, the boys stripped him of his wristwatch and other jewellery including his shoes. They only shifted ground after police men came to his rescue.
D'banj was so lucky to have escaped unhurt, but his video shoot was interrupted.

I will be a businessman; you know you always have different types of dreams. It’s been a great journey in 10 years and when I count my blessings, I see that God has been so faithful. There are places that I have been to, that I never thought about. Though, I dream big, I have performed on some stages I never thought I would dare to.”

“The high point of my career will be last year when I gave a speech at the World Bank Tedex. That for me was different ,because it had nothing to do with music. 'Oga Titus’ Was Not To Diss D’Banj - Don Jazzy

When the song ‘Oga Titus’ was released, many music lovers and observers started speculating that the Mavin Crew was dissing former record label artiste and executive, D’Banj who had been in the news for allegedly going broke as at the time.

D’Banj was reported to have been sued for an unpaid debt. He further fuelled the rumours when he spoke with on Olisa TV in a programme called ‘The Truth’ about his time at Mo’Hits. He had said the reason for the break-up was hinged on Dr. Sid.

Don Jazzy said, “Guys please enjoy my songs with an open mind. The only song I have done about any particular person is #Adaobi. I do not do diss songs. Thanks.

“#Katapot is actually just a love song. Just as #OgaTitus is just a funny local song. Please let it be just that. Thanks #SMD.”

He further recalled that while former record artistes, D’Banj and Wande Coal, were with the Mo’Hits crew, nobody was allowed to record such songs. All that the Mo’Hits expected to do was sing music he said.

“Even D’Banj and Wande Coal will tell u that I never allowed them record diss songs. Never been my style. I will not start now. Enjoy #Katapot,” he said.

Don Jazzy’s Mavin Records boasts of artistes like Reekado Banks, Korede Bello and Di’ja, Tiwa Savage, Dr. Sid and D’Prince.
