I Look Up To Bracket - Tiwa Savage
Pregnant Mavin Records first lady, Tiwa Savage, has revealed that she is proud of Nigerian music duo, Bracket, because they are Nigerian singers she looks up to.
Tiwa, who was featured in one of the group’s latest singles entitled ‘Alive,’ alongside Tanzanian music star, Diamond Platnumz, stated that the song was one of the best she has featured in recently, noting that she is honoured to be part of it.
“One of the features I've done that I was so honoured to be part of. The message in the song really touches my heart and the artists I worked with are all people I look up to,” she said.
According to Bracket, who became very popular after the release of ‘Yori Yori’ few years ago, ‘Alive’ is a song written to thank God for the successful cancer surgery underwent by Vast, one half of the music group in 2013 at Platinum Medical Centre, Wellington, London.
“It’s an idea we conceived shortly after Vast survived cancer. We want to help people with cancer, at least pay their bills, even if they don’t survive it, we want to help them stay alive,” Smash stated.

We Are Not Homosexuals - Bracket Debunks Rumour
Reports have it that the singing duo Bracket are gay because they don’t talk about their relationship with women and they have not stepped out with any lady or woman before.
Fans have been accusing the duo of being gay and loving each other madly. Bracket told Punch that the rumor is a laughable one and they are not gay.
In their words,
“We did not want to talk about it in public before but I guess we have to. We saw the story and it was a very laughable one. We did not believe it was that serious until one of our uncles called from Enugu. He was even laughing when he asked us. At the end of the day, there are certain things you do not say in public but people should wait till they see us get married. We would not begin to say that we have girlfriends in certain places or who they are. But to clear the air, we are not homosexuals. People that know us know that we are not gays.”
Smash of Bracket said he wants everything to fall in place before he settle down, while Vast of Bracket said he’s in a relationship with an Ethopian lady.
According to Smash, “I am a proper Igbo man and there are certain things that my people expect from me before I can get married and once those things are cleared, I would look for someone to marry.”
According to Vast, “I have somebody and when I am ready, people would go with me to Ethiopia to get married.”
