In recent times, Nollywood actress, Toyin Aimakhu, has been in the news over her marriage to fellow actor, Niyi Johnson, which seems to have come to an end.

There have been several reports on the union and also allegations that she has found warmth in the arms of a movie marketer, Seun Egbegbe.

Few weeks ago, the movie star urged her followers to give Jesus Christ a chance in their lives, saying there is nothing better than that.

Not too long ago, Toyin disclosed that she has found a new joy in Christ, stressing that that has been the reason behind her glowing beauty.

Latest pictures of Toyin Aimakhu and Seun Egbegbe, a Yoruba filmmaker, in quixotic positions may have finally put to rest any hopes of reconciliation between the actress and her estranged actor husband, Adeniyi Johnson.

Few months ago, it was rumoured that Toyin was secretly seeing Egbegbe, who has been accused in the past of dating top Yoruba actresses.

But going by the latest photographs, their alleged affair may not be secret anymore.

Though we are yet to confirm if the lovers are planning to walk down the aisle, but we learnt they are both madly in love with each other.

The crisis rocking the marriage of Nollywood couple, Toyin Aimakhu and Niyi Johnson may not end anytime soon going by the latest revelations.

It was reported few weeks ago that the actress moved out of her matrimonial home and her whereabouts was unknown to her husband.

She even allegedly switched off her mobile phone and ignored the social media, where she always keep her fans updated about her life.

Gist making the rounds now is that Toyin has refused to go back to her husband despite the fact that the man has apologised to her publicly. Niyi had few weeks ago confessed that he slept with his wife’s staff and had begged her to forgive him.

It was said that Toyin ignored pleas from family members to forgive Niyi and return home.

There is a rumour that the actress now lives with a male friend of hers in Ikeja, Lagos.

We were told that Toyin felt too hurt about the incident having earlier warned her husband to stop flirting with other women.

A friend of the actress described Toyin as a lady who falls deeply in love with a man easily and finds it very difficult to forgive the man, when she is hurt by him.

Toyin while speaking in an interview with TW magazine condemned actors who are fake. According to her, most actors lavish money on unreasonable item which can't take them to heaven. But for her, she sees no reason why she should spend more money on unreasonable items because she is contended with what she has.

The beautiful light skin actress, reveals she is from a family who are very prayerful and thought her the way of God disclosing that she would have been a physiotherapist or a pastor if she had not been in the movie industry.

In the Nigerian showbiz, many marriages have not held water for one reason or the other, but for Nollywood actress, Toyin Aimakhu, who regards her husband as her 'small god', she wants to have a happy home like her older siblings and her parents. 

According to Toyin, her husband has changed her lifestyle and has also stopped her from using blackberry, amongst other things which are not known to people. She said, “that is why I call him my small god.”

In her words, “All my older sisters are married; everyone in my family is happily married. My eldest sister sibling is like 50 years old and still happily married, so mine can't be different.”

She added that her parents are still happily married. “My father is 74 years and my mother is 72, so who will I turn to with a broken home? I am submissive to him because he is my husband. So, if he is doing his responsibility, then I have to do mine as his wife.”
