Why I Vowed Not To Date Any Female Celebrity Again, After Yvonne Nelson - Iyanya
Call him a sex-symbol and you are not far from the truth. Since winning the maiden season of MTN Project Fame West Africa, Iyanya Mbuk has been a consistent hitmaker, who has stirred lots of controversy with his romantic relationships with female stars in the likes of, Yvonne Nelson and Tonto Dikeh.
The multiple award-winning star who always flaunts his sexy body and abs on social media in a recent interview maintained that after his experience dating the sultry Nollywood actresses, he has made up his mind to steer clear celebrities when it comes to love and romance.
"Yvonne Nelson is an amazing person, but I would never ever in my life date or have anything to do with a female star. I am not cut out for that kind of drama."
If Mr. Oreo won't date a female star, then what kind of woman does he want to settle down with.
"A good woman is a good woman. You can’t just sit and say this is the kind of woman I want. Some people think the best place to get a girl is in the church; meanwhile, you can get the wrong girl in the right place.
Sometimes, I am worried about getting the right woman to marry because of my status. I have had one or two women come into my life and act like they are something. The safest thing to do is marry someone you have known before you became a star."
He also gave reason why he shows off his sexiness on social media.
"Sincerely, I don’t show off. Anybody that thinks I show off is suffering from inferiority complex. The only people that think I show off are those people that think they could be me or people who wish they could be close to me but can’t be. Maybe they like me too much and don’t want to agree they like me that much.
These same people spend hours admiring the posts I put up.
That is what social media is for. It is only in Nigeria that people have a problem with you posting pictures.
While you are complaining that I am posting too many pictures, a true fan is admiring same and considers me as a mentor. Believe me, a lot of people think they know me, but they don’t."

I Don’t Care What Press Write About Me Anymore - Iyanya
Iyanya, whose real name is Iyanya Onoyom Mbuk, is an artiste who has made top charting songs. The sexy singer has also become a household name in Nigeria, winning several awards since he gained limelight some years ago after emerging winner of a music talent hunt show.
The Calabar, Cross River State-born singer is known with hit singles like 'Your Waist', 'Kukere', 'Flavour', 'Mr. Oreo' among many others.
When asked what he would have loved to change as regards his status, the rumoured ex-lover of Ghanaian actress, Yvonne Nelson, said, "Fame is fame. I do not think there is anything that should change in this fame."
Speaking on how he reacts to stories being written about him, Iyanya said he does not get bothered about what the media write about him.
"So if you notice, I am not one of those guys that would hear stuffs they would write about me and I would start writing back. You know why? (Because) I do not really care. They are just doing their job. If I was nobody, nobody would write about me. So it comes with the territory," he said.
When asked how the music label Made Men Music Group was formed, Iyanya revealed that he co-owns the outfit which has signed other acts like Tekno, Selebobo, Emma Nyra.
"Me and Ubi Franklin just looked back on the whole thing; where we have come from, and we just said 'We are made men! We worked our way up.
"Triple M-G is a label owned by myself and Ubi Franklin. I am the Chairman; I the artiste. Ubi is the Chief Executive Officer; he is the manager," he explained how the label was formed.
He further said if he had not been doing music, he would have been into governance.

Gobe! Iyanya Wants To Gain Popularity in East Africa - Kenyan Artiste Jaguar Slams Singer
Kenyan artiste named Charles Njagua Kanyi better known as Jaguar accused the “kukere’ singer of exploiting him and working with him just to gain popularity in East Africa.
Jaguar told a Kenyan publication that his collaboration with Iyanya on ‘One Centimeter” remix is not getting any airplay in Nigeria. And Mr Oreo didn’t do anything to make sure the song has presence in Nigeria.
Jaguar said Iyanya decided to work with him just because of the fame, and that the singer wants to gain popularity in East Africa. He also made reference to an artiste, Sauti Sol who collaborated with Iyanya on “Sura Yako” remix and the song hardly get played in Nigeria.
Charles revealed that the “Kukere” singer wants the video to be shot in Nigeria and directed by Clarence Peters, he said he agreed for the video to be shot in Nigeria but it will be directed by a Kenyan director named Thome.

I don't like talking about Iyanya - Yvonne Nelson in a new interview
When we all thought the Yvonne Nelson and Iyanya love saga was all over, social media is bringing everything back to life again.
After granting two major interviews on her controversial love life with the ‘Your Waist’ crooner late 2013 – with BellaNaija & The Juice – Yvonne Nelson says perhaps something wrong was gotten from both sittings… on the issue of who dumped who?
In a new interview with AllAfrica.com, the Ghanaian super woman may have insinuated that both interviews, including a meeting with Beat99.9 FM’s Toolz, she was not interpreted perfectly.
“I granted interviews on this whole thing: Bella Naija and Toolz (The Juice). I don’t want to repeat myself,” she told the site.
“My interviewers took whatever they wanted to take away from the interviews i granted them.” she ended.
Not wanting to dive deep into the past, she rested her case but according to rumours, Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh was the root of the break up.
Nelson previously told Toolz, “I hate a situation when you bring a third person into any relationship that I’m involved in.”
Meaning, ‘when this happened, Nelson threw in the towel’?
It's obvious that she was the one who actually left Iyana’s flexible waist to focus more on her film career. After all, that has paid off!
The Yvonne Nelson Production is now boasting of three major movie successes: House Of Gold and Single And Married, and recently the record-breaking, Single, Married and Complicated
