MERCY AIGBE IS AN UNGRATEFUL FELLOW - FILMMAKER, OLAIDE OLABANJI

According to beliefs in this part of the world, there is always one person that is pre-destined to help someone achieve a goal. Top gospel artiste in Nigeria, Tope Alabi, described such person in one of her songs as ‘Angel’, who could be anybody.
A filmmaker in the Yoruba movie industry named Olaide Olabanji, has accused Mercy Aigbe-Gentry as an ungrateful fellow, who has forgotten her source.
He told Encomium in an interview that of all the top names in the movie industry today he helped in the past, only Lola Alao has appreciated him like the only leper out of the 10 lepers that returned to thank Jesus Christ in the Holy Bible.
“I can only vouch for one person who is no other than Lola Alao. If I help you today, I am not expecting you to pay me back because I believe that I must contribute to someone’s life.
“One thing I appreciate about her is that she doesn’t forget the fact that I made her; she always gives me the credit even when she receive awards. She buys things for me anytime she travels out of the country.
“Lola bought the shoe I wore on my wedding day in 2005 and this really makes me happy that she remembers her source,” Olabanji said in the interview.
He said further, "Mercy on her side was working with a company on the Island and she was living in the same compound with my brother at Gbagada, Lagos and fortunately for her, I saw in the compound; this was on a Sunday.
“She was coming from church and I walked up to her to know about her because her kids and my brother’s children always played together.
“I asked her if she can act and she said yes, but said she works on the Island. Two weeks later, I invited her to my location at Lekki during the shooting of ‘Sebi Eyan Ni’ and that was all. It is just that we humans are different. God just used me for Mercy."

During her stay at the Big Brother Africa (BBA) competition, Nigeria’s representative, Beverly Osu threw criticism to herself because of her compromising photographs.
However, the model and video vixen never bothered herself with such talks, instead she concentrated on how to move to the next level.
In an interview with Naij, Beverly explained that she expose her skin as her “own way of teaching up-and-coming models how to be comfortable with their body.”
Beverly said she “got into modelling by being a lingerie model. Actually, I forced myself to be a lingerie model because I never liked being a runway model.”
"Before, I was a size 14 but due to what I wanted to become, I had to shed the weight. Basically, I want to teach people to be comfortable in their own skin. People think I expose too much but I think it’s just my skin, you did not see anything," she further said.
Beverly explained why she started her own NGO, which would be looking to support those living in slums.
"While on a movie set in Ajah, I saw some young guys filling a canoe with sand. So I approached them, seeking to know how much they get paid for the job. Surprisingly, one of them said, ‘N500.’ Immediately, I said to myself: ‘Damn, people are suffering.’
” After my movie shoot, my project manager told me, “Let’s do something with the slum.” So we decided to start from Port Harcourt and by the grace of God, we will touch lives in every part of the country," she said.

Emeka Ike Is Just An Attention Seeker...Ibinabo Still Remains President - Segun Arinze

Nollywood actor, Segun Arinze, has aired his views on the crisis rocking the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) he once led. Since a court ruled that status quo be observed, which put the election of Ibinabo Fiberesima as president of the guild into question, Emeka Ike has announced himself as president of the actors' body. However, the case has been appealed.
In his recent comment, Segun Arinze described Emeka Ike is nothing but an attention seeker.
Segun explained that Emeka never applied for the position of the Guild’s leadership and will only keep making noise until Ibinabo’s tenure is over without achieving anything.
“I don’t want to trade words with him because he lacks pedigree. Emeka Ike was never AGN President. The media should stop giving him attention because he is just an attention seeker who wants to be in the news for the wrong reasons. If he wants to head the guild, let him go through the right process.
"The process is, get the form, go through the required screening, then contest for the elections when certified. It is when he becomes victorious at the election process he can then declare himself as the president of AGN
“He has been claiming to be the AGN president since I left as the head of the guild in 2011 before Ibinabo came in. Why didn’t he purchase the forms to contest elections then? This is how he will continue till Ibinabo’s tenure expires next year and another individual will emerge president. He is hallucinating and he needs to wake up from his slumber,” Segun told E-Rave.
On the court’s declaration on Ibinabo’s election, Segun said "there is no problem with that. The court said the guild should return to status quo which in military parlance means ‘to return to normal or as it is’. Ibinabo still remains president and her tenure expires next year.”

I ONCE HAD "QUICKIE" IN CAR - YORUBA ACTRESS, ADEDIWURA GOLD

Making love is one thing that is very exciting, especially when it is done with a loved one. That is why some people believe having a hot love making session can be medicinal. It could start from the living room to kitchen, the bathroom and ends in the bedroom.
To some, the bedroom is only the place where they can have it, but others prefer anywhere.
For Yoruba actress, Adediwura Gold, she once had it in a car; yes, you heard right. Do you call that a quickie? Well, that is left to you.
Adediwura made this confession after she posted a meme which reads, ‘Name a place you’ve had s3x that is not the bedroom.’ She was the first to respond to her question and she said, “Chai, I own up, in the car.”
Her meme got others responding and some claimed they made love in an uncompleted building, while other named car, kitchen, shower, beach and other places.
